For those asking about missing parts, i'm not really sure what could cause that. This mod is basically just model files and .xml's for collision and connection info. Maybe they updated the required format for the .xml's, but I'm not sure. If things aren't loading, it's likely on your end. Otherwise, tinker with the .xml files in the mod folder.

I had a TON of good ideas for this mod, I truly did. I wanted to implement stronger connection points, building guides, easy modularity so you don't have to calculate how many track blocks you need, and even remove the necessity of the reinforcement bars. But unfortunately it wasn't meant to. The dev kit at the time of me making this mod didn't actually explain how to setup a mod project IN UNITY. That's how all mods for this game are made. There was no information regarding mod creation setup in unity, or visual studio, and when I asked other mod developers within the community how to go about setting up a project I kept getting the same answer: "Read the documentation". I haven't seen the documentation lately, but I kept rereading it constantly over the course of about 1 year seeing if I missed something, but I didn't. The "dev kit" at the time was basically a resource of variables for modders that already knew how to make mods in the game (and likely didn't really need the "kit").

When you download this mod, you basically see every file the way I saw it, as .obj's and .xml's, so if you're a modder that wants to expand on this and improve it, be my guest. All files are free to use.

I shouldn't have to tell everyone how to build in besiege.... it's pretty easy...

My first workshop mod! Easy to create and use tank track system.

This mod features:
-Tank Roller: Large wheel with a gap in the middle to allow track teeth to keep the track aligned
-Tank Roller Bearing: Same as the Tank Roller, but free spinning with no movement controls
-Tank Track: Basic track segment block. Features a large tooth on the underside to keep the track on the wheels
-Track Reinforcement: Under light loads, the Tank Track block can handle superbly, but the heavier the vehicle the stronger the track needs to be. These connect to the side of each Tank Track block, then push it back by 0.5 units so it aligns with the pivot of the Tank Track Block.
These connect to eachother end to end to add structural support to the track without sacrificing flexibility.
However, since they're assymetrical, you won't be able to use symmetry or mirroring tools on this block.

Screenshots here on the page show the increments to use to align the track, but it should be fairly easy to get it.
the Track block should be 1.25 units away from the center pivot of the Tank Roller block

Update 12/6/2018:
-added inner and outter wheels for interleave system
-added new prototype track block. Features 2 capsule shaped pads for better turning and lower track profile. Might lose some grip, especially on climbing, but the round shape of the pad provides a smoother area for turning, and thus less stress on the track

-Made wheels invincible. They're metal wheels and shouldn't take damage!

-Dropped the collision resolution to help with stability and lower lag
