Snow Test 6

Description
I've been testing four different snow mods for the past week individually and mixing them together to come up with a good combination for making both visually appealing and funtional snow maps.
This is the combination of two different mods that I like the visual aspects of but it is unstable. I will try to make some nice looking trail maps with it before probably falling back to a less visual but more funtional and stable variant.

It is just a loop around, I made others just like it before this one (#6). There is some ice along the trail that is slippery. I cleared the trees from where it comes out of the forest to give players more room to slide around on it!

I'll try to do a few more small trail maps in the next few days. Might make a quick one with a lake of ice to slide around on!

Enjoy

Updating dev tools from 1.8.1 beta to 1.8.2 and it fixed the problems with the mod. I don't get any errors anymore.

Very strange :D I'll have a look at it, thanks!

I put them in the editors meshcache, into a mesh folder in the editor's media folder, and into a mesh folder of the map itself (why map size is large). Not doing any of these three causes it to not work.
I still get a lot of popups about missing files. I pay attention to what it says it is missing and don't use those plants/trees.
I like the visuals of this mod more so than the others, that's why I forced it to work. On a test map I only released to friends I used another mod that added snow to the air. That is the one I plan to revert back to eventually. But the trees and snow aren't as nice looking with it.

I'm working on a snow mod with custom textures and so on, similar to the mod pack you have used but smaller with less useless stuff. I would really like to know where you have put the mesh files for the objects and plants.

About to release a 1024x1024 snow/ice trail map and then I will make a few logging maps before considering changing up the mod.

A lot of hit and miss, trial and error, DerEggen. I loaded it into the editor everyway possible to load it until it finally started working. At 176mb the map file is a lot larger than it should be because of me forcing it to work.
As I mentioned in the discription I will use it to make a few maps and then revert back to something less visually appealing but more funtional.
I want to takes the good parts of each mod and combine them into a single good snow mod.

I wonder how you managed to upload all the models and plants that came with this winter mod. I've looked into the package and could not find any original .x and .xml files for the models or plants. How did you manage to get your editor to upload these files to the workshop?
