Syncretic Slavery Strata

Opis
What is this mod?
This mod is started as an attempt to "fix" some of the rather, in my opinion, restrictive changes made to slavery options after 2.2. Where the Syncretic Evolution and Slaver Guilds civics could not be used with each other anymore.

It has since expanded to include a number of other features.

What this mod does.
It attempts to add a little more player choice to the game's slavery options by making the following adjustments:
  • The Slaver Guilds civic no longer enslaves a locked percentage of your population. Instead it gives access to a "Trafficking Regulations" Policy that lets the player scale the percentage of their enslaved population from as low as 20% to as high as 60%.
  • Removes the mutually exclusive restriction that was added between Syncretic Evolution and Slaver Guilds. From what I've seen this restriction apparently broke a play style option for a few people, including myself. This essentially means that you can actually enslave a portion of your syncretic species, rather than be restricted to the all-or-nothing options the base game now locks you to.
  • Adds an alternative to Syncretic Evolution called "Coexistent Evolution" that doesn't have the Syncretic Proles species trait. Mostly because I feel the vanilla civic is a bit cliche in its theming, and in reality two species evolving along side each other wouldn't be restricted to that one trope every time. Plus it opens up a trait point to better customize the secondary species.
  • Adds a new civic for Hive Mind empires called Driven Coalescence. Starting the empire with a second species and the ability to assimilate other organics from game start much like the Driven Assimilators for Machine Empires.

Potential Incompatibilities.
This mod alters the following vanilla features:
  • The vanilla Syncretic Evolution, Slaver Guilds, and Indentured Assets civics.
  • The "has_encountered_other_species" scripted trigger.
  • The "generate_start_pops" start of game effect.
  • The assimilation and purge citizenship types and living standards.
Any mod that does the same will likely conflict.

If this mod ever gets updated, could you add a feature where the Stratified Economy living standard automatically enslaves a portion of the species if your empire allows slavery, similar to the old Caste System citizenship type?

Is this mod still active? It's description is exactly what i was trying to create for my next empire, but the mod just doesn't work. When starting a new game, it spawns 2 species but the second species pop is set to 0 and already has hive mind. Additionally, under default species rights there is no option to assimilate.

Sorry for the late update. Spent the last couple weeks reinstalling my game library on a new computer.

Coexistent Evolution should work again now though.
Coexistent Evolution isn't working for some reason

Yes, it still works.

@aks
Let me know whether you still have access to the Trafficking Regulations policy or not. Had to change how it linked to Zenith empires.

Hm. slight issue. adding the authoritarian personalities from Zenith has made it so -all- empires have enslaved pops regardless of ethos. Need to figure out another way to make that work without breaking the rest.

np

Also, the Coalescence total war casus belli and wargoals now work for the Driven Coalescence hive civic.
