If this mod ever gets updated, could you add a feature where the Stratified Economy living standard automatically enslaves a portion of the species if your empire allows slavery, similar to the old Caste System citizenship type?

Is this mod still active? It's description is exactly what i was trying to create for my next empire, but the mod just doesn't work. When starting a new game, it spawns 2 species but the second species pop is set to 0 and already has hive mind. Additionally, under default species rights there is no option to assimilate.

Sorry for the late update. Spent the last couple weeks reinstalling my game library on a new computer.

Coexistent Evolution should work again now though.

Let me know whether you still have access to the Trafficking Regulations policy or not. Had to change how it linked to Zenith empires.

Hm. slight issue. adding the authoritarian personalities from Zenith has made it so -all- empires have enslaved pops regardless of ethos. Need to figure out another way to make that work without breaking the rest.

Looks like it's an AI personality type. Added them to the policy requirements. Let me know if it works or not.

Hmm... When you take the Galactic Ascendancy Ascension Perk, in addition to the two default civics for Ascended Empires, you get to choose a third civic that depends on your fanatic Ethos.
One of them is the Master Race civic for Fanatic Authoritarians. That one, perhaps?

It's possible, though I'd have to find something to replace the bonus on the civic. Making pop enslavement available to any empire would make Slaver Guilds mostly redundant as a civic since that's a significant part of it's bonuses.

Though if there's a civic or an empire flag or something from Zenith that would be appropriate to tie it to then I could do that instead without having to change the civic.

The Zenith Of Fallen Empires mods always replaces all your civics when you change to an ascended empire, which is a necessity if you want to play the mods properly. To fix this, could you make it so you don't need the slaver guilds civics to unlock Trafficking regulations?

Update is up. Coexistent Evolution should now work properly and there's a new Hive civic called Driven Coalescence that functions similar to the Driven Assimilators from Machine Empires.

Still trying to figure out the casus belli and wargoal functionality, so they can't declare an assimilation total war yet, but otherwise they assimilate pops and assign citizen rights like they're supposed to.

Sorry for being a bit quiet lately. Got hit with a sudden modding burnout about the same time a few good games caught my attention so I've been a bit distracted.

That said, I should have an update ready sometime this weekend, which should fix Coexistent Evolution (not actually sure what was broken, but I fixed it).

Also, there's going to be an added bonus of a new Hive Mind civic that not only starts you off with a secondary species like Syncretic Evolution does, but you'll also be able to assimilate pops from game start like the Machine Empire Driven Assimilators can.

The does seem to be broken as of 2.2.3/2.2.4. At the very least, the Coexistent Evolution civic doesn't seem to be working.

It's not a very complex mod so I don't see a reason why not. All I did was tweak the vanilla traits a little and move one of the bonuses to a simple policy option.

Only one weird glitch, just started it up to see, it automatically set them to undesirables (I have a government mod so that may be it) but it was no problem, just set their rights as they should be and blamo! It works perfect

Oh, only one thing, it seems liek coexistent isn't spawning the actual pop
