More Book Slots

Description
Increased the book slots from 4 to 16. That's 4².

"Book slots" refers to equipped books. There is no limit to the number of books you can store in your inventory, but only the equipped ones will give you their bonuses.

Due to some requests I've made a version with 99 More Book Slots.

Steam blocks links to mediafire dot com but if you go to that site you can put this on the end of the URL
file/ugcv6z3az82tar7/morebookslots.7z
and download this mod directly.

Hey. Do you mind if I add your mods with others so that they are all compatible with the community patch mod?

I finally put my mods on mediafire and I explain how to find it above because steam censors links.

Also I finally looked into Great Work modding and changing the slots would be a pretty big overhaul, overwriting each individual wonder. Much more invasive than this mod which only has to change a single line.

Would it be possible to make a mod that increases the number of Great Works feature slots so you can build all of them?

Because I support people who "have trouble downloading from steam ;)" here's how to recreate this mod. The original file is at "ck2/common/artifacts/01_artifacts_books.txt" and the lines about slots are at the very top. Copy just those lines and put them in a new file in your mod folder, something like "mymod/common/artifacts/00_morebooks.txt". The 00 will let that file load first and take priority. Lastly you'll need a file in the mod folder called "mymod.mod" that just says name="name of my mod" and path="mod/mymod". if you get confused there's a good page on the paradoxwiki about it and if you're still confused then i dunno.

My PC was down for a while so I missed some comments here.

First off this mod is embarrassingly simple, it's a uniquely named text file that overwrites a single line to increase the number. It should be forward compatible with all patches unless they overhaul the artifact slots or book systems.

Also if you absolutely need more book slots NOW you can just jump in the zip and change the number to whatever you like. Alternatively I'm uploading a 99 slot version, I'll put the link in the description above.

Steam doesn't seem to like mega and I don't have any other cloud services, so I can't do a manual download at this time, sorry.
