It's not "from" Quake 2. It's a user-created PLAYER MODEL intended for use with QUAKE 2 MULTIPLAYER.

Actually Goblin by Conrad, designed for Quake2 and released back in 2000.

Just tried it and errors too:
'Content/SeriousSamHD/Models/Players/CubeGoblin.mdl' ; cannot open file
'Content/SeriousSamHD/Models/Players/SeriousSamSD/Schemes.rsc' ; cannot open file.

The model is ready from a long time, I've problem with weight maps... me sucks in animating models :/
