So basically it's a bandit start, but harder than your typical outlaw scenario which might have 3 or 4 sworn enemies or perhaps a dozen in extreme cases. Not only would I need to fight all those spiders, I'd pretty much have to fight anything else I saw too. Forever. Base building would be out of the question, unless it was inside the starting ville or someplace like Black Scratch.
Suggest you tone down the opposition a bit. This is way too much hatred to be justified by 50K and five skilled fighters. Otherwise, it's a very well done mod.
So you can download your mod from here, find it in the workshop, make a copy on your hard drive in the Kenshi Mod folder, rename the folder to Mysterious Fortune, and you have your mod again for editting.
Mod was made when I was extremely new to Kenshi as a whole. I wanted to build where I read Mercenaries usually hide out so I looked around for a decent and open area for the camp. I then started constructing it.
I did not know how dangerous that specific spot was until I was already developing the camp. So for a few hours I developed a stronger camp that could withstand the constant attacks for a while. I tried to automate the camp too.
I watched for a while and it seemed that the camp could survive on its own, depending. I don't think I saw the camp get wiped out at all.
Anyways, it was not intentional but I decided to keep it. If you want, try to see how long they last on their own. I think I lost the files with a factory reset on my PC so I don't think there's anything more I can do to it, unless files are stored on the cloud.
And yes, all the skin spiders wanted to kill us.
The initial upload was fun. And if modded carefully that 50k cats is enough to outfit everyone with backpacks and make it to the swamp where I normally base.
Not everyone wants to kill you. :) Just backstory, read the changelogs and features. Every faction included in the whole game was custom tailored based on lore. The initial upload, everyone was hostile.
I haven't worked on it in a while but for the most part it is done.
