Description
-NOTICE: If you prefer the colors of the base game, this mod is NOT for you. This is not a realistic mod. This is a very thematic mod, not based in realism. If you care about maximizing your gameplay performance, you also may not like some of the changes this mod makes when it comes to visability. On a final note, many of the screenshots where the sand looks saturated and red can be attributed to a texture pack I was using, and stopped using in the middle of taking screenshots. The less saturated ground is more accurate to what most people will see in their games.-

This mod uses 'Lucky's Color Corrections' from Left 4 Dead 2, and impliments some of them in to Insurgency. The aim of this mod is to deliver a more cinematic, thematic experience. Desert maps will look scorching hot, with orange and blue tones. Snowy maps will look dry, with blue tones. Night maps are dark, with subtle purple and blue tones. Shadows are much darker and contrasted to the light. Please note that Kandagal, Panj and Revolt don't use any color correction, and therfore will look flatter than the other maps. Thanks to Lucky for letting me use his color correction files to create this mod, his mod for L4D2 will be linked below!

A note for modders:

While making this mod I had to go through every map and find out what color correction files they used, in order to better understand the changes I was making. Below is the documentation I created while making this mod, in an attempt to better understand which color correction files change what. Hope someone finds this useful.

Maps That Use 'heights.raw' - Verticality, Station, Heights {All snowy maps}
Maps That Use 'uprising_cc.raw' - Uprising {Because she's special}
Maps That Use 'mogadishu.raw' - Training. Just Training.
Maps That Don't Use CC - Kandagal, Revolt, Panj

Purple/Pink generally make for bad color corrections imo because they are very powerful. Blue typically works best if tuned properly to complement the bloom type.
