Superminimal Ore Barge

Description
This is a superminimal ore barge CV using the new container controller/exender system and designed for the currently implemented volume restrictions on containers.

This has minimal CV functionality (except for the oxygen which didn't seem much of a cost to add) with one Thruster S in each direction, one T1 RCS, one small generator, one medium fuel tank, a few Carbon Composite blocks, and almost all of the rest of the space that isn't needed to make a CV work is container extenders. (Some blocks that look like container extenders, like the ramp in back, are actually carbon composite blocks; I just used the extender texture on the whole thing.)

Material requirements are shown in the images.

Also shown is a Ladybug (popular almost completely minimal small low-level drill miner) docked on top.

Performance: Even comlpetely full of iron ore and rocks, the weight is no problem at all for liftoff and acceleration. More container extenders can easily be added on the sides without overwhelming the engines. Powered on, even with the thrusters off, the power consumption is quite high becaue of the 10kPU per cargo extender requirement! (As of 9.0.4.)

I mostly made this to prove a point: This should be an SV or an HV, but because there's no way to dock a miner to one of those I'm forced to create a CV, the most minimal of which is still serious overkill. This is why we need to be able to haul a mining HV around with either an SV or another HV.

Yes you could make an all-in-one hauling/mining HV, but those get very troublesome to use for drilling once they get heavy. That's why people use small miners with a high thrust/RCS power/weight ratio.

I don't think you necessarily need that much volume. The idea is you should be able to fit maybe 6 M or L ore deposits in it.

You may be right, I may not have gotten mass turned on.

Why do you need so much capacity? I'm not sure about rich deposited, but medium ones give couple stacks at most...

I'm pretty sure single 'Thruster S' won't lift this even half loaded once mass is on. 'S' can lift around 700-800t. (falls with 950t at 0.9g)
For this kind of load you will need two 'S' minimum to both lift and have decent enough acceleration.
