( Project ExoDawn )

  • Welcome to Project ExoDawn!

  • This project was started inorder to bring a new experience to the DarkRP gamemode genre within GMOD. I hope that you all very much enjoy. <3

  • As this project has taken well over a year to develop, along the process this map has changed through various concepts.

  • Although ambitions were very high for this project, a lot of things had to be scaled down. For obvious reasons, server to client performance and engine limits.

  • As such, a lot of brush detail, decals, props, hdr, dust motes and overall map size have been reduced and or removed.





    ( What's Planned? )

  • This is currently a final build of the project.

  • As such, not much will change for the layout. However, new small and secret areas / bases and vents may be implemented.

  • This project has already costed me my happiness, So please be mindful when giving out suggestions. T_T

    Note: As we are nearing the engines limit, adding more and more will not be possible.

  • Suggestions are always welcomed but please do keep in-mind of the above.

  • Your thoughts and feedback on the map will also be very much appreciated. <3



    ( What's Included? )

  • A Headquarters for the police department. Including,

    - a mayors office
    - an armory room
    - 4 jail cells
    - an isolation chamber
    - an interrogation room
    - a shower and locker area for the inmates.

  • Unique and hidden areas, accessed through vents or hidden doors that can cause an eye sore.

  • A Bank, with a huge vault door and open space.

  • A barber shop across from the bank.

  • 3 unique gun shops, the best one is near spawn including gun ranges.

  • A dedicated Medbay area for paramedics.

  • Elevators leading to the lower levels of the bunker or to the outside.

  • A Washroom area for the citizens near spawn.

  • An upper level adding more navigation and exploration to the map. (There is radiation damage.)

  • A small Lower-Level including a generator room and a spooky underground.

  • Market Sector: A small hub near spawn allowing server owners to place their NPCs.

  • PA Sector: A Personal Area of living space for residents of higher rankings.

  • Rebel Sector A: Found in the middle-level of the bunker, this area has a light switch that can be turned on/off.

  • Rebel Sector B: Found across from spawn, this area is for a secondary rebel group. (AKA) our version of crips vs bloods.

  • Easter-Eggs: Special locations that will only be found via exploration of the map.

  • ADMIN ROOM: Probably the worst admin room out there :D but hey, it allows us to focus on other areas.

    Note: Not everything is listed here.

Does this map require any games because some of it is missing texture, I can't see if he said this map requires any games.

@ZDuke You should be fine with the cs:s texture pack, it's all that was used. (:
