Varas

Variar Industries was formed around 2025 within the region of Austria, racing in the SR league throughout their timeline. They performed well, hitting their peak in the SR-2 league with the fastest cars on the circuits.
The decline of the SR League's popularity and the rise of anti-gravity in 2087 saw a drastic and nearly-fatal change to the company, but struggled to keep themselves afloat via partaking in the early AG Championships. Before the SR-A league was approved in 2140, Variar disappeared from the circuit altogether, and left behind two teams that still bare the colors the company had named Varas and Xavier. It's often said that Variar had split into these two teams due to violent arguments in their concepts. To prevent confusion, Variar mentioned in a press conference that Varas and Xavier were established as racing divisions to settle disagreements between the two opposing groups within the company.
Varas, alongside Xavier, have the best speed you can get. However, Varas offers a pure experience, with straightforward performance. Xavier's handling is similar to a see-saw, with their pilots trained to constantly turn back and forth to straighten out their craft.
The two teams once had a fierce rivalry regarding skipping heavy portions of the track. Varas argued that cutting heavy portions of the tracks to spare time is considered cheating and dangerous for spectators there. This came to a head when Varas resorted to stopping Xavier's antics by taking it to league the officials. With Xavier's repeated skipping, and their near misses with spectators at the tracks, officials went to Dreamtecht to resolve the issue, establish force fields around the spectator areas.
Though Xavier was still able to cut portions of the track, the amount of the circuit skipped was reduced greatly, resulting in Xavier being less aggressive later on in the league.
As of now in the 23rd century, Varas and Xavier's relations with one another became more of a friendly rivalry, people likely suspecting Variar returning to race once more.
