Village: Mastercrafted Edition

Description
This is my ideal Village mod. I added a new color corrected high res game board among other things. I also put the rulebooks up on stands so that they are more visible. Decumanusmaximus and BountyHuntA deserve credit for the models.

I used the 'Kraken' table as the foundation -- and I resized everything for increased visibility. I also set this up so that ALL expansions are in play. You can always remove things you don't want. This game works best with 2-3 players in my opinion. However, a fourth seat is set up. A fifth player is also an option, but their stuff is put away in a bag behind the castle dice tower.

Thematic music has been added. Candles were added (Courtesy of 'Ye Olde Candle' mod). Cards are arranged so that there is space for discard piles once goals are completed or tavern persons have been used. Expansion boards are locked down, right click and change them as needed. Theoretically you should be able to close player drawers that are not being used but I have experienced some bugs with that.

Have fun, and please leave suggestions!

CHANGELOG:

12/30/18: Added snap points for grain and discard piles among other things. Removed descriptions for some assets taken from BountyHuntA assets because while good for new players I found them bothersome after awhile. I did however leave some descriptions in, like for rulebooks.

Seems to be missing a lot of models.

Hi, is there a quick way of setting up the 5p gear or do you do it manually? Also is there anyway to stop the player in 4th position on opposite side having it all rotate?

Hi, wanted you know that your mod has been added to my collection: Board Game Geek - BGG - May 2020 - Best Mod for each of the Top 500 Rated Games. Collection here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2086043930

The collection used this priority system:

1. Mod's Files Availability: Mod with all/most files still available for download
2. Feature completeness: Mod with greatest inclusion of expansions and/or promos available for the board game title
2. Scripting: Mod with scripting that most reduces work in setup/play for players
3. Component Quality: Mod with the best visuals/usability in terms of component quality
4. Table Setup/Ambiance: Mod with the best immersion with table, background, and other modeling.

Please also note that a mod that makes selection for this list very well could be one in which the mod author borrowed the majority of assets from another workshop listing, so full thanks to all who worked on a mod.

Thanks for your hard work!

This mod is where I learned the ropes. Right now I am building an original mod for a game that is not on here at all. Interestingly when I began this village mod I was unaware of BountyHuntA’s mod, it didn’t pop up in the workshop for me. So I spent a whole day adding in rulebooks and the customer 2 expansion only to realize a few days later that someone had already done that. His rulebooks were better too :( lol. But I learned a lot. The tile for customer expansion 2 rules is mine at least lol. My scans for the customer 2 expansion were actually really good but I would have to rescan all market tiles for them to match, maybe I will sometime. Anyway thank you for checking this mod out.

Quite pro. I wish I saw more people playing this. I think there's another well done mod of it, but this is where I, a publisher, would go "Let's turn that into a DLC, please write the modder."
