East Coast Range, Industry DLC Ready

Description

This version was made to celebrate the release of the new Industry DLC release. For those who played Railroad Tycoon series, it was modeled similar to that. Updated industries and locations from those in the "Heavy" version, which is now known as the "New Industry 2.54 Ready" version. Also, hilltops at maximum height no longer are continuously flat for long expanses. Because of the issue with water, I do suggest the Natural Environment Professional Mod.

For fishing industry, I prepared this for those who don't use No Intial Roads mod. The game automatically connects to fishing grounds on game load, so I had to go without those installed. Boot up the industry creator, and place them at your convenience. You may need the no cost mod enabled. Also, I wanted the ♥♥♥ international Ports at NYC, Boston and near Wilmington, unfortnately the game crashes whenever they load, so place them where you prefer.

This edition requires the official release of Post mod (or possibly beta, havn't tried that one) on transportfever.net, you can get that here: https://www.transportfever.net/filebase/index.php/Entry/3530-Post-Mod-von-nown-Release-Version/ . Automotive Industry and, obviously, the Industry DLC are required as well.

1) Post mod Release version
2) Industry DLC
3) Automotive Industry

This map is quite hilly, however there is no need (in this edition) for the NoInitial roads mod. I personally want to thank Merk for his Map Export mod as that sped up the process for this map 10 fold. Here is his link: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1445899052

if you'd like to get that water effect, use Natural Environment Professional

@parillos well the water will be like that on any of them, sorry to burst your bubble, just the way this map is sadly. Not sure how to fix it, but it will be updated for TPF2! I love this map. The extra items are actually required for this play. You need the official version of the post mod for it to play, but apparently Industry DLC is super buggy, and theres been quite an amount of contention against them for not updating it.

Hi! I have installed and reinstalled this 3x, and it will not work for me. Anytime I try to start a new game, it loads a little bit of the status bar then closes the entire game back to my desktop, without any pop-up windows or error dialogues.. I do not have the "heavy" version of the map installed, nor those extra workshop items. So I am completely confused as to why it won'r work for me :( The non-industry version of this map will load, but the water is just so odd on that one, it does not make for an enjoyable save.

Nope! There's a mod, called TF Converter. Make sure it's at the top of the list. @storm and I are working on an updated challenger however. Also, the challlenger in its current form is under multiple units

Did you have to change the file to make it work in TPF? I see it was originally uploaded for Train Fever
