My name is Tom Oliver, I am a former police inspector. I am 71 years old, but when this happened, I was 34 years old. I am writing this to my wife so that she finds out all the necessary facts about my past, I have a little time left due to lung cancer, maybe I will die closer to dinner today.

This story began on the night of May 25, 1986, when I met my old friend Mike Connor at the bar. Mike told me about Psychiatric Hospital No. 173, which is located on the outskirts of New York. I heard about this hospital that there was some kind of paranormal nonsense, and I even once approached this place ... Honestly, it was terrible. Mike started working there as a night watchman, and he needed a partner. On the one hand, I will not work in such a terrible place, but on the other hand, they pay 1,500 dollars a week.
