- Bow Scaling has been redeveloped from the ground up
- Mirror Image (Requires Twin Souls Perk)
- Damage of each bow can be increased via specificied Perk listed
- Firing your Arcane Bow now depletes 3% of your magicka
- Destruction Levels up, but slower than Marksman

Arcane Archery, is now a separate mod taken from my mod Arcane Assassin as i am splitting it's contents up so its easier for people to have what they want instead of having some things that they didn't need.
You can now find these spells being sold at the Riverwood Trader

All bows benefit from the Soul Stealer Perk, and Critical Shot from the Archery Tree which will produce a bigger explosion

<1> = Requires the player to be 50% or greater magicka
<2> = Requires the player to have Twin Souls Perk
<3> = Requires the player to have a specific perk to increase damage

Fire Bow


Fire Damage
<1> Turn Raised Undead (Necromage, Perk Required)
<2> Mirror Image
<3> Augumented Flames I (25%), Augumented Flames II (50%)



Ice Bow


Frost Damage
Slow
<1> Banish Summoned (Oblivion Binding, Perk Required)
<2> Mirror Image
<3> Augumented Frost I (25%), Augumented Frost II (50%)



Shock Bow


Shock Damage, Magicka Damage
<1> Disintegrate (Disintegrate, Perk Required)
<2> Mirror Image
<3> Augumented Shock I (25%), Augumented Shock II (50%)



Poison Bow


Poison Damage
15% Chance to Stagger Target
<1> 15% Chance to cause Frenzy for 60 Seconds (Rage, Perk Required)
<2> Mirror Image
<3> Poisoner (25%), Concentrated Poison (50%)



Spectral Bow


Physical and Elemental Damage
<1> 15% Chance to Disarm Target
<2> Mirror Image
<3> Overdraw I (25%), Overdraw II (50%), does not benifit from Overdraw III or higher

Spell resists now halve the damage by the percentage of the targets Resist Value, allowing you to use Weakness Poisons to benifit for more Damage.

Fire Resist (50) = 50% of the fire damage will be halved

Scaling of the arcane bows are based on your level and destruction skill (Base Value, not modified value that are increased via Enchantments)

Base Damage is 8 for every spell effect (Equivalent to the Damage of a Iron Arrow)

The following example of the damage scaling Fire Bow with no Fire Resist on the target
Player Level (1) = 0 Damage Increased
Destruction Level (15) = 2.25 Damage Increase
Fire Resist (0) = 0
Total = (8 + (0 + 2.25)) = 10.25

Player Level (1) = 0 Damage Increased
Destruction Level (100) = 15 Damage Increase
Fire Resist (0) = 0
Total = (8 + (0 + 15)) = 23

Player Level (50) = 25 Damage Increased
Destruction Level (15) = 2.25 Damage Increase
Fire Resist (0) = 0
Total = (8 + (25 + 2.25)) = 35.25

Player Level (50) = 25 Damage Increased
Destruction Level (100) = 15 Damage Increase
Fire Resist (0) = 0
Total = (8 + (25 + 15)) = 48

The following example of the damage scaling Fire Bow with Fire Resist on the target
Player Level (1) = 0 Damage Increased
Destruction Level (15) = 2.25 Damage Increase
Fire Resist (50) = 0.5
Total = (8 + (0 + 2.25)) * 0.5 = 5.125

Player Level (1) = 0 Damage Increased
Destruction Level (100) = 15 Damage Increase
Fire Resist (50) = 0.5
Total = (8 + (0 + 15)) * 0.5 = 11.5

Player Level (50) = 25 Damage Increased
Destruction Level (15) = 2.25 Damage Increase
Fire Resist (50) = 0.5
Total = (8 + (25 + 2.25)) * 0.5 = 17.625

Player Level (50) = 25 Damage Increased
Destruction Level (100) = 15 Damage Increase
Fire Resist (50) = 0.5
Total = (8 + (25 + 15)) * 0.5 = 24

Q: These bows seem different than the one established in your mod Arcane Assassin
A: This mod was re-written from the ground up

Q: Are the arrows Physical Damage like normal Arrows
A: Pure elemental / poison damage, so they can be resisted

Q: I got Critical Shot perk, i am receiving critical strike but no big explosion effect
A: As the arrows are not physical damage like normal arrows, the chance to receive a critical strike is different than the normal arrows. But the Random Chance still applies to the Arcane Arrows just those two are not globally shared when it occurs

Q: Will you add more bows?
A: Yeah i can, just leave your ideas in the comment section

Q: Target says it resisted but it still damaged the target
A: Base damage was Resisted, the rest of the damage was halved

Q: Are there any mods that conflict with Arcane Archery
A: Spell Sneak Attacks is so far been reported to conflict

Can you add the ability to have other bow mods do the same things as your bows? I downloaded a compound bow mod recently. And I want a shadow bow too!

It would be cool if you made a ghostly bow (kind of like the ghostblade) with the special armour penetration effect, and then maybe some drain effect at tier 3. It could be named "Vampire Bow" or "Bow of the Dead" or even something cool like "Dead Shot" or "Sithis' Vengence"

Id like to point out that Disintegrate, Deep Freeze and Intense Flames in the destruction tree also affect what the bows do as i used the shock bow and my target turned to dust. If there are any other perks that affect any of the bows please let me know would like to make the most out of them since i'm basing my spell thief completely around them them. By the way great work loving the mod more and more cant wait to see your new bows.
