Description
The Chosen of the Desert Tier 1
-------------------------------
Far from the vast Darkmoor Forests and on the edge of the Pal'mum Desert, an intrepid band of Rayya's Children wander, looking for a new home. Join them in founding their village as they take their place as one of the Chosen!

---------------------
A simple mod pack designed for the RC that keeps with the simplicity of the vanilla templates, but draws from the building styles of various middle eastern cultures. People live and work together, live more minimalist lifestyles, and incorporate newly learned skills into the community.

The template pack features items from ACE, and as such, it is required for this pack to function.

For Tier 1, the buildings go up very quickly, have minimal decoration inside, and are made entirely from clay bricks. Each is unique in shape, but share a similar style to the vanilla buildings. Each template is numbered as a suggestion to the build order. The final building is dependent on purchasing a weaver's spindle, keep an eye out for one. The total capacity of the buildings is 16 hearthlings, although it can be done with only 13 easily.

Contents:
#1 - Ground template with roads, hearth ring, and a rally point site
#1A - Hearth ring only if you want to do roads on your own
#1B - Rally Point site only if you want to do roads on your own
#2 - Home for 6 pers (1 trapper, 3 workers, 2 farmers) and small food storage
#3 - Barracks for 4 soliders
#4 - Home and workshop for 3 pers (potter, mason, and herbalist) with a large storage
#5 - Home and workshop for 3 pers (blacksmith, weaver, and cook) with a large storage

(Tier 2 will cover more professions)

Each building has been tested with ACE alone, with no observed issues, so let me know if you encounter any. If there are any "red block" building errors (none seen so far), just build a ladder to the block to resolve the issue.

Tier 3 is taking longer than expected, trying to resolve some style problems. Northern Alliance Tier 1 is up on the workshop, and T2 is being worked on. Ascendancy concept is getting there. If you have any suggestions or comments, just leave a comment. Enjoy!

There's no layout for these like the Northern one has?

Love this template set! Only wish it worked without ACE...(Didn't read all of your commentary on this page before I started a new RC game though, wish I had!) .I like ACE, just there are things not finished, or seem to be anyways. Oh well, it is what it is...But, nice work, Thank you!

No problem, I'll wait eagerly, I'm an NA player so probably have to wait a while.

@Christ549 - Thanks! I do plan on doing the others as well, I've kinda got the concept down for how they will be different from each other, as I don't just want to do rince and repeat style templates. First I need to finish the RC!

DB, yeah I noticed that it did that too. Just press "shift+," to move the template down and it should work for you. I will look into fixing that template for you to avoid having to do this.

Perhaps I'm doing something wrong, but on a fresh RC game they built #1 on top of the ground, rather than digging down and placing the road level with the ground. I assumed this was by design, but when I placed #2 they did dig down one block to start building. See what was happening, I stopped construction and destroyed #1. I tried to build it again but first move it down in the builder interface, but the interface would not let it move down (or up) only side to side. So, I let them finish it thinking I would simply build the building on top of the ground too. When I placed #2 I could move the floors up but there are various bits (pillars, stairs) that are a pain in the neck to get moved so I kind of gave up there. tl;dr: First step should build into the ground, rather than on top of it as it does now.
