Description:

The first warship pattern in Fleet Standard's A10 weightclass, the A10.1 Soteria-Class Patrol Boat is a small, fast vessel, designed to operate in deep space independently for long periods of time. In a fleet role, the Soteria-class exeeds at fighter screening and escort duties. Features a light, wide-arc point defense system and a capital-busting rocket battery. Armor has been limited to the cabin and spaceframe to improve crew survivability while keeping mass down and acceleration up.

Functionality:
Backwards dampening toggle for efficient forward flight.
Complete, independent ion and hydrogen flight systems for cruising vs. combat manuevering.
Locking mergeblock mounts for docking or modular attachments.
Long/short band antenna protocol and emergency beacon.
Four dedicated gunner positions.
Outrigger decoy system.
Jump capable.

Runs MMaster's Automatic LCD 2 script and Whip's Airlock and Auto-Closing Door script.

Design Brief:

This light Patrol Boat is not extremely powerful, but it can be fun for hit and runs, makes a good set piece flanking larger Fleet Standard vessels, and is a fun wave enemy to face in campaign scenarios as they're not too difficult to defeat.
