That is the second one - http://www.mudrunnermods.com/winter-for-mapmakers-v2-2/
To make it work right you have to remove your meshcashe and texturecashe folders from your game, and then install the ones provided in the mod to your game.
When I first started doing the snow mods I did it. If done right your start screen will be a snow scene, with different animal sounds.
