That's gonna take a bit of fun.)

Individually update every map mod with steam cloud links, or restore the original external links.

So what would it take to move all that stuff to the steam cloud with no other external links?

I could possibly fix some. If i open the workshop file replace the objects with broken links with objects saved locally to my PC, then upload to cloud and upload a new version. (not sure if i can update someone else's workshop file).

Ahh great! I see so many broken links and such from some actual terrific maps others have made as well. It saddens me. I am entertaining the idea of trying to fix them somehow.)

When you save the gae to your PC, it will generate local files for the components. That's why I can't see the problems others see when they load the workshop file. My game runs the local files that you might not have (so a broken URL causes problems for you, not me).

To fix this now, when i upload a map or want to fix it, I upload all files through the "Cloud Manager" to create a file in the steam cloud for other players to use. This fixes any broken URLs. Then I 'Update Wokshop' for the map which now uses the new steam cloud URLs instead of the original third party URLS and voila, fixed.

Loads great!!! Thanks for checking in on it. And the tutorial video is EXACTLY what I needed!!!

One question? When I save this and have it ready for a game. Will it save copied to my steam cloud? Just in case your host is offline or something? I think I want to spend some time making quite a few maps from the old record sheets. And even possibly some "close" to real world topo maps.

Check this map and see if the issues have resolved.

For the map building you need to desize the tiles 4 times. Then lay them all out how you wish. Then go 3-4 rows at a time and resize them to normal and lock them. Go to the next 3 rows and repeat until your map is all resized and locked. Then add trees, buildings, etc... Here's a video I made a while back.

As for the object image failures, we had addressed many of them back in April, but perhaps a few new issues have cropped up. I will investigate.

How do you get the tiles to stack next to each other so well? I would love to try and build a few maps as well. I have some assorted tiles from other maps and resources but I can't get them to lay next to each other correctly.
