Description

This is an optional grip mod that comes with the HK XM-8 mod that I made. You can still install this mod standalone without the XM-8, but be mindful that this grip will look weird as it is not a Picatinny rail-mounted attachment and it does have a different artstyle than most weapons you see here (There's basically extreme wear to the grip). This will replace the Mk. 18, M4A1 and M16A4 grips.

WARNING: IF YOU ARE INSTALLING THIS MOD WITH THE XM-8, REMEMBER THAT THE GRIP WILL ALSO REPLACE THE M4A1 AND M16A4 GRIPS. ALL THREE WEAPONS SHARE ONE GRIP MODEL AND I CANNOT GO AROUND THIS ISSUE. IF YOU DO NOT WANT THIS THEN DO NOT INSTALL THIS MOD.

you could avoid the whole shared foregrip thing if the foregrip was compiled with the XM8 and assigned to its own bone, moving the original foregrip attachment point off the scene and whatever instead of making it replace the railed security foregrips. only downside to this is that the foregrip won't appear in the menu.

Thank you for putting in the time to add one of the coolest prototype weapons created to Insurgency, and another thank you for this mod. Making the XM-8 an even more special rifle to use, now with a matching foregrip!
