if i want to use them on a server and make them downloadable through the A3Launcher, am i allowed to publish my custom face mod on the workshop?
not the whole mod, just the face.paa and config.cpp from your templates basically :D
just wanted to double check before doing so
Create folder "myMod" and put your .paa files there. Create "config.cpp" file in the same folder. Edit file and copy paste content of the templates/config_template.cpp.
Replce YOUR_MOD_CLASSNAME with name of your mode.
Read comments in the file and add your own classes to CfgGlasses and dzn_AniMemeFace.
When ready - run Arma 3 Tools - Addon Builder. Select your folder (e.g. "myMod") and output folder. Click PACK.
It will produce myMod.pbo file.
Open your Arma 3 directory and then to '!Workshop' folder (it might be hidden, depending on your system settings). Create new folder "myMod", open it and create "addons" folder there. Now copy your myMod.pbo file inside this 'addons' folder.
Run arma 3 launcher, add local mod and select create folder. Run Arma 3 with dzn_aniMemeFace and your mod.
Open templates/template_1x1.png in any graphic editor, place your memeface at new layer and position it. Now hide background and save only layer with your face to filename_ca.png.
Now you need to install Arma 3 Tools.
Run TexView2, open saved file and save it as .paa image.
The memes are invading
Not sure what you mean, but 'faces' are just 'goggle' items in inventory (so you can put it on/off via inventory) and available in Arsenal's goggles section
