Underground Solar Farm

Description
Only Level 5! (Would be level 3 except for the shutter.) This is the cheaper, more game-practical underground version of the Small Solar Greenhouse.

6x3x3 (54) growing plots, one capacitor, more than enough solar to keep the grow lights on in all situations, and 3 small O2 tanks just in case you want O2.

In any situation where you get drone attacks it will still need defenses added around it to match those attacks or the solar panels, at least, will get destroyed.

Use PgDn to spawn this underground at whatever depth you prefer. Spawning things underground can be tricky so you may need to use the T2 drill to flatten the terrain or you may need to fiddle with the position.

A warning though! It will take a while (maybe 20-30 minutes of real time) to drill out all of the terrain inside this thing. You'll need to clear all the dirt/stone from inside to use it. (On the plus side though you'll probably get all of your crushed stone back and more. I got 395 Crushed Stone when drilling it out for testing.)

Note: I changed the entrance to be flush with the ground and added a shutter because I think this looks better than what I had. It's pretty easy to add a shelter over the entrance if desired.

Made something Similar, but designed it to be built into a hill, that way you only have to work on attacks from a smaller direction. I also placed the core a bit of a distance from the structure as that helps prevent direct attacks as they seem to go for the core

I see what you mean. I hadn't thought of scavenging farm plots. I usually make them from concrete anyway. I'm not sure if I should change this BP now because people have gotten used to it but maybe I'll create a version with no plots.

Using placeholders making the blueprint versatile. For example, I have 30 steel plots after scalveging POI farm. However they don't go to your blueprint.
I have tested your build just now and all I've changed is added blocks below plots. So now I have 6 "pools" where I can put whatever plots I have. Here is a screenshot: https://puu.sh/CUANS/61455bcb60.jpg

Maybe I should create a "farm starter" that is a minimal base with solar and no plant beds but has a food processor to help make the plant beds? Except most small bases have this already.....

You mean make a version that you can place before you can craft the plant bed blocks? I hadn't thought to do that because I figured most people would not place this as the very first base structure. Most people will put down a starter base first then make plant beds with it. I created some starter bases with no plant beds but they have the food processor to make them.

Hi! Thats exactly what I need fot modular base of mine! Thanks.

A small suggestion. Please change growing plots with some cover-blocks. Those are requered in factory, thus must be crafted anyways.
