Well this mod is great if you're just buying houses in cities and not base-building yet, since you don't have much room to build lots of storage chests. It's probably all the thievery I'm doing that fills up my storage chests too quickly.
Perhaps a separate version for 1080p along with a version for larger resolutions is an idea? Because I can totally understand it would be much better to have larger inventories in both height and width on 1440p and higher.
Also I just now realize this mod adds research for double width armor/weapon containers only, not all containers (my bad). But for me it was applied to the vanilla armor/weapon containers before. I guess that was fixed along with shops issue, but that's why I thought the vanilla general chest was also supposed to be bigger.
With v3 the vanilla chests are all normal size again. This time I've researched 'bigger gear storage' to check the wide ones and those are indeed bigger. Though at 36x wide it has the same thing happening with a Garru that it pushes it slightly off-screen. It's a minor issue but 34x wide would be the maximum I believe on 1080p monitors and not have anything get pushed off-screen. https://imgur.com/Ijb10gW
When you say didn't change generic/misc storage, do you mean they remain vanilla, or they did not revert from version 1 back to vanilla? The storage window was never resized, only stacking modifiers, so you won't see any change with window sizes.
