Wartburg 353

VEB Automobilwerk Eisanach presents the Wartburg 353.

Produced between 1966 and 1989, this beast was built as a newer, better 311, having redone suspension, modified 2 stroke 3 cylinder engine and some more features. Was pretty safe, thanks to the frame construction, and was super easy to fix, both engine and bodywork, which rusted quite well. In 1988, bodywork was redone again, making it more aerodynamical, and VW Golf 1,3l petrol engine was mounted. This model was called "Wartburg 1.3" and was made till 1991, when IFA died. Rest in rip.
