Those falling under the "Droptank" Standard utilize a connection standard that transmits basic data. In certified aircraft, this data is used for calculation into the Aircraft's remaining fuel.

Those falling under the "Armament" Standard utilize mainly gravity, as the main propulsion method. Freefall weapons and utilities are common.
The G-32 Poseidon Missile uses a waterjet to propel itself through the air.
