Earth class Battleship (VAN)

The Earth class Battleship is the apex of current Earth Navy design, built to be a slow, heavily armed and armored fortress capable of dealing and taking any punishment that would otherwise obliterate any other ship. The design stemms from the second Prometheus class proposal, however this is an expanded design. Incorperating two very large hangar bays, the Earth class is designed to be the center piece of Fleet Battlegroups. This design also is used for the Enterprise class of Fleet Carrier.
