Mule class Freighter (VAN)

Mule class freighters are the standard medium to large load carrying freighters of the Earth Cargo Fleet, and are prized for their reliability and carrying capacity. While very versatile, they are only armed with several light weapons, and thus are very vulnerable to piracy unless escorted, or in formation with other cargo ships. These ships are a favorite of the Rebel Fleet, as they can easily be modified to accept new, heavier weapon systems and can take a beating relative to other, more fragile designs.
