  • Increase/decrease in-game ambient time of day (Ctrl+Home/Ctrl+End)
  • Increase/decrease in-game length of ambient time of day (Alt+Home/Alt+End)

I'm going thru all the mods I use because I'm having an issue where certain hero abilities (ones that change units like Arthur or Sinbad) aren't working. Has anyone else using this mod experienced this issue?

Does anyone know if it’s possible to make a keybind for the world tracker toggle ?
Kornstalx 12 May, 2021 @ 4:12pm
Yes, but you'd have to create (or steal from another mod) a function specifically for map tacks. I created a custom function to hide the whole World Tracker (unit list, etc) and bound it to "X" by placing it in the same spot I mentioned below.

Kornstalx, does that mean I could bind a key / button to adding a map tack?

How would one go about fixing this mod to reup?

@V, find and open "InGame.lua" at:

...\Steam\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization VI\DLC\Expansion2\UI\Replacements

Look for the DefaultMessageHandler[KeyEvents.KeyUp] function on line #57. Replace the entire function with the text from this link:

The two City Banner/Unit Banner hotkeys are at the bottom. I use "U" and "L", change them if you desire. You can edit this file while the game is running and it will update the changes real-time without restarting. This isn't a mod, it's a hard UI game override, so it *should* work fine one-sided in multiplayer.

If a patch comes out these changes will probably get overridden and you'll have to do it again. ALSO if you are using mods that change this same file, the mod will override this default game one -- you will have to instead find Ingame.lua in the mod's folder and make these changes there.

@Kornstalx

How'd you do that exactly?
Kornstalx 21 Apr, 2021 @ 6:46pm
Man I'd kill to use this mod, but all the dependencies for it are outdated. I yoinked some of the functions out of it and just brute forced the hotkeys into InGamel.lua. This works but obviously it's missing the interface options to change anything.

Regardless, I couldn't live without the hide city banners hotkey.

Thanks FiatAccompli for your immensely useful mod. A request if I may: would it be possible to add an option for enabling/disabling auto-unit cycling. It's a setting that I change many times in a game, depending whether I'm at war or not (when not at war, it's useful and kind of OK, but when at war, the choices made by the cycling algorithm are insanely stupid and frustrating!). If you can, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hey brother, if you ever could update this, or just add the hide tacks and maybe a feature of a hotkey to put a tack that would be so amazing

Yup, the first one!
