I've never had a complaint about textures and to be honest I don't know that I see an issue with the current one? I DM for several people with less than stellar computers so I am limited in what I could even consider. I don't know that it's worth using super hi-res textures of grass, the map gets the point across pretty well. Do your players really zoom in to check the grass? I've never had that happen, that's not what most people think about when the monsters show up.
I used to use the default rectangular table for a short time but it was far too limiting of a space to work in. I would never even consider using TTS's default rectangular table again.
Lastly, not every player uses a square table, mainstream is a rectangle table, which means that DM/GM's will not be able to use their custom table setups, and forced to use this one, or another custom square table.
Once again, I want to use this, but it needs an update so I'm not stuck using a square table.
