Description
Merc-MX9R (SV Class 1, Unlock Level 20)

Primary roles: Fighter, Survival, Warp, Alpha 9, Variant of MX9

The Merc-MX9R is a tweaked out more hyped up version of the Merc-MX9. This version however does require rare resources, exceeds 7500 CPU, and unlocks at player level 20. It features increased performance, storage and ammo, weapons, and was tested extensively by Jupiter Vessel Corp! Thanks Jupiter Vessel Corp!

Survival features

Inside it has 2000 volume storage, 3000 volume ammo storage, o2 and station, armor rack, 2 constructors, 2 fridges, WiFi, short range detector, warp drive, and interior cockpit access.

Offense and Defense

The ship comes with 4 gatling guns and 4 homing rocket launchers, 4 Rail guns, and 4 plasma guns. The hull is built with hardened steel.

Features Summary:

1. Player unlock level 20
2. Hardened steel hull, 4 gatling guns, 4 homing rocket launchers, 4 plasma guns, 4 rail guns.
3. Warp drive, o2 + station, 1500 volume storage, 1500 volume ammo
4. 2 Constructors, 2 fridges, armor locker, WiFI, short range detector
5. Internal cockpit access
6. Good speed and maneuverability.
7. Sensor based lights, door, and ramp
8. Exterior spot lights + interior control switch

A very nice ship, everything is fine, I just removed a few guns and added a hull shield. Thank you very much for your work.

Okay, I...again, have no idea what I'm doing lol
Someone told me the other day that Project Eden is much better than Vanilla, that I should grab it...and so I did. And unless I'm mistaken, it sounds like like Project Eden is the problem, rather than the ship here itself. That at least insofar as ship stuff is concerned, Project Eden has a whole other set of rules than vanilla. Oops lol
Well good! Maybe I'll look into seeing if I can't relax that requirements somehow because I LOVE this ship to pieces...its part of why it was so disappointing.
Okay, sorry...Jrandall, it really can't be said enough just how amazing your designs are...these aren't gaudy or overdone, not too flashy, not show-boaty, just utilitarian, functionally fantastic with a nice touch of classy. You should design stuff in rl with your kind of eye and taste, thank you! And thanks for responding pretty well to what was essentially a gripe lol

imwithdummy! the Merc-MX9D is this vessel, it is just updated for CPU standards and weights & Volumes. I think you will enjoy it.

Thank you Doc and imwithdummy! @imwithdummy, So many creations like this one were built a long time ago when CPU, the new flight model, reforged Eden, etc., did not exist. Some just can't be done to size and specs. Now, I started making new stuff compatible or intended for Reforged Eden which is again different. Many times, things are so different now, building new creations to work with the current rules works out better than trying to update an existing creation. I have got way to many creations out to possibly try to keep them all up to date with what ever the latest changes are and it had 3 major changes including Reforged Eden since this was released. All I can say, is the newer releases are made for newer versions of the game. Creations I did update will have update info on the post. I currently have very little Reforged Eden creations released besides the Carapace C7 and recent Centaur-MT. More to come thou. Thanks again all!

Hey, love these ships, absolutely love them...the amount of work that went into them...I can't even imagine.
But a note here? This is the second ship I've grabbed and built, only to find out that it has nowhere near the CPU capability it supposedly needs. This one requires 89,000 and yet is capped at 6k.
I just hopped into this game a week ago so am unfamiliar when whatever updates took place that may have made ships like this obsolete. Maybe I should have known better, maybe there's a fix? But nowhere on this page does it state anything about, "hey be careful, this is an outdated ship". Instead its like a sitting duck...attracting ignorants like me who don't realize its of no use.
Again, maybe there's a fix, but I just realized after...all afternoon, really, that I need to revert to an earlier save to get the materials back from this. Hard not to find that pretty frustrating.

I ran this through the Shop, and Made (In my option) Some major Positive changes to this ship.

Thanks Aaron. Yeah, I would have had one in it if there where in the game when this released. Most of my ships are in the same boat expect the newest ones. At some point I do want to go thru many of the older creations and get them up to alpha 10 spec. I am pretty sure a shield could be added somewhere but I would need to adjust things to make room for it. Thanks again!
