Ah I get it now. I actually didn't know that you could solve it using only the Light Bridge . I just thought that the other solution involved both the Tractor Beam and the Light Bridge so that was very interesting to read.
You're most welcome for the comment as I felt it was only fair considering you don't find that many truly thought-provoking chambers, let alone ones so small. As mentioned before as well, I do really like the overall design of the level such as the Light Strips and Observation Rooms.
Thank you for taking the time to reply to my comment with your own and thanks again for the chamber. Was definitely worth the play and I'm sure if you end up publishing any others they'll also be great.
I'm glad you liked it, thanks for taking the time to write a comment, I really appreciate it. I'm sharing the second solution in the spoiler below.
Yes, you can solve the chamber only using the bridge, but it is a lot harder to execute as it requires fast mouse movements. Here's how:
1. Take the cube to the light bridge
2. Place a portal above the button and one next to the chamber's entrace
3. Take the cube and cross the portal slowly. You'll see the button has a tiny protrusion from the wall. Stand on that while holding the cube
4. Throw the cube into the air. While it is flying, you have to place a portal on the end of the light bridge and another on one of the sidewalls next to the button. If you do it correctly, you will have a bridge that crosses the chamber from left to right just below the button. Remember to grab the cube before it falls
5. Position it on top of the light bridge so that it presses the button
6. Walk to the exit
I solved this using only the Tractor Beam (along with the cube, button and hand button obviously) though I presume there was a method of solving it using the Light Bridge as well, considering the title and the description.
If you would be so kind, could you please tell me what the other solution was? I'd very much like to know as I spent 20-30 minutes or so even figuring out the solution I used. I simply couldn't think of another way.
Again, great chamber, small and simple yet very thought-provoking. Well done.
