About the game:
Fanorona is a strategy board game for two players that originally comes from Madagascar where is also still very popular today.

The game is played on a board lined with rectangular grid and the most popular version (Fanoron-Tsivy) is played on a grid of size 9x5. Each player has 22 pieces of their color on the board when the game starts.

The first player has pieces of white color and the second player has pieces of black color. A player with white pieces always takes the first turn. The goal of the game is to take all of your opponent's pieces.
