Description

My first mod, I did this mostly for myself.
Silencers don't break anymore and suppress sound better. I didn't modify the sound files, so shooting a suppressed weapon will still sound like the unmodded suppressed gun.
I didn't touch the impro bottle silencer, because it's a water bottle, what do you expect?
This is only tested on zombies, I don't know how/if it works against players.

Looks like this only needs to be installed on the server

@mok interesting, b/c it does not work correctly on mine. but DayZ has changed the way infected react to sounds so that is part of it but on my server it seems to pick and choose when it works and sometimes everything is good but then you shoot a few times and it sounds like the suppressor is not on and then goes back to sounding like it is and ALL the infected are running at you and the suppressor since says pristine....

My server has been using this mod well before the 1.02 patch and it works as describe.

I have in on the server only, the players do not even know it is loaded. My players are happy and being server side only helps reduce the mod footprint my players have to install.

confirmed, better silencers does not work. just tried to add it to my server and it does not start with it enabled.

downloaded this mod, put put it in the server map as @Better Silencer, copied the AWarrior.bikey to the key folder, and added the -mod=@Better Silencers. but for some reason the silencers in game gets damaged as much as they did before. Have i done something wrong here
