Gemini Titan II

The Gemini spacecraft, propelled into orbit by a Titan II ICBM, was the flagship of the United States's second tangible manned spaceflight program. The program tested long-duration spaceflight, EVAs, and rendezvous/docking capabilities with an Agena Target Vehicle. Action Group 1 activates the spacecraft's fuel cells, AG2 jettisons the aerodynamic cap atop the spacecraft, while AG3 deploys the spacecraft's docking indexer, a tool used during docking to permit proper alignment with the target.
