Description
These are examples of how to rotate turrets, tank heads and anything similar. They all differ but have all their own pros and cons. From left to right:"
  1. This one is based on the suspension glitch and only requires one of them. It only has one speed but can be directly controlled from the seat, which means it's really easy to install and reacts without delay. If used as a tank head it, it will stay pointed to the same direction no matter what direction the tank itself turns. That makes for some stable shooting!
  2. This second one is my prefered one but is impossible to make yourself if you don't know how to edit blueprints directly in the game files. It uses endless 1-degree rotations for both directions which normally would be very slow, but because the speed has been edited in the blueprint files to 0.004 (5.0 is slowest) it actually turns really fast! I love this one because it's the strongest one of them all, doesn't have a startup delay, and compared to the engine version lags less.
  3. The middle one is the classic one which is 95% of the times used as the prefered method. It's also the easiest one to make and does the job most of the time. When there's a lot of weight involved it will stop working and the bearings might act like spaghetti, which only causes lag. There is however a way to work around that problem and it requires you to stack the bearings in the blueprints files, making the axis stronger.
  4. This one, which is the most obscure one of them all, uses a bugged bearing which allows for endless 360-degree steering. It's so good because it literally only needs 1 bearing. However, it's too fast and too loose making it act like spaghetti even faster. The one who came up with this trick is none other than Brent Batch.
  5. The last one is a clone of the first one but allows for tank head stabilization in tanks that are controlled by only one person. In such tanks the steering controls are already used and need extra buttons to rotate the head.
