SS Intrepid Intrepid Type (Star trek Enterprise) [Reupload]

The Intrepid Type was developed alongside the warp delta and NX it was decided that the NX would take priority which was launched in 2151, construction of the SS Intrepid began and was completed in Late 2152. The Intrepid was built in case Enterprise failed/is destroyed and to test new technology (Improved polorised armor hull photonic torpedos) which were used in Phase 2 of the NX program. After the Xindi attacked earth, the UESPA began construction on other Intrepid types. During the Earth Romulan war Intrepid and delta types were used to defend the Sol system as they were too few in number and too advanced to risk on the front lines. Only NX class starships and more primitive UESN ships saw the most action. The Intrepid type would be refitted by the UFP starfleet to obtain warp factor 5.
