Mike Awesome

Mike Awesome was an absolute force in the late 90's and is known for his work for ECW, WCW, and WWF.

Awesome was a 2-time ECW World Heavyweight Champion, but controversially left ECW while still holding the company's top title over a dispute involving unpaid wages. Awesome signed with WCW in 2000, where he remained until that company was purchased by WWF.

While in WCW from 2000-2001, Awesome had multiple gimmicks, which may have hurt his credibility as a main event player. He was known at times as "The Career Killer," "The Fat Chick Thrilla," "That 70's Guy," and a member of Team Canada.

Awesome was part of the Invasion angle in the WWF, and he won the WWF Hardcore Title upon his debut. Awesome fell out of major storylines after the Invasion ended and left WWF in 2002. He would return for a memorable appearance at ECW One Night Stand in 2005.
