Description
The Nervous Musician, Whyatt, joins the survivor crew! A talented musican, disadvantaged by his broken fingers and cursed saxophone. Whyatt is now in the constant as a playable character! Art was done by Aret Maw and coding was graciously written by Xenomind!

  • Health: 110
  • Hunger: 220
  • Sanity: 95

Quirks:

  • Loves music, is an expert saxophonist.(No sanity loss from One-Man-Band)
  • Enjoys the sounds of songbirds. (+ Sanity when near birdcage.)
  • Has a problem keeping it all together. (Has low sanity, and another thing to be added soon :>)

Whyatt's Saxophone

The cursed saxophone, given to Whyatt by none other than Maxwell, has now been implemented! For %10 durability it can restore 20 sanity to Whyatt!

This mod is currently in development, help with bugs is much appreciated. I'm not trying to make a ground-breaking character here, it's mostly for fun and personal reasons.

ADDITIONAL INFO:

EDIT: 24/09/2022 - Whyatt is now fully updated with new quotes up to this date. He also got some sprite reworks so he looks a little sadder and his hair matches his official artwork.
EDIT: 03/11/2022 - Whyatt is now up to date with the A Little Drama update and even has a custom soliloquy to perform at Charlie's Stage, check it out :)

Before you report it, any panflute you pick up becomes a saxophone, it's the curse, sorry :) This is being worked on.

@soyamirmassu sorry i won't be adding any more changes to this mod. What's happening with the saxophone? It's worked perfectly for me and my 5 testers.

got an idea add to the perks that his saxophone corrupts other instruments like "has a haunting cursed saxophone"

Hey @Caramiriel, I just tested a couple of things and I couldn't find any issues with crafting a one-man-band. Sorry about that :( But thankyou so much for the complements! I'm glad you like Whyatt.

I just downloaded Whyatt and love his personality and voice, but I was trying to make a one-man-band for fun and it crashed my server! I'm not sure if it had anything to do with other mods that were also on the server but Whyatt has the special interaction so I can assume he might be the problem.

Actually those two big tufts of hair sticking out in front of his head look small in the in-game model, their exaggerated size in the portrait look great, also any words on the cursed saxophone?
