The Green (microcontroller circuit) is almost the exact same as the blue (normal logic) but still works in the exact same way. what it looks like to me is that the microcontroller up/down thing might be broken in this case.

the only differences are that
1: one is a microcontroller and one is normal logic
2: the microcontroller uses "Pulse" which is not in normal block logic (I have tested that it works, the greed "reset" light will flash when you release the input button)
