Description
This is a SINGLE PLAYER scenario!

WHATS GOING ON

You were part of a drug smuggling gang, running a little stash house on Tembelan Island, near Indonesia. The job was easy: your asian connections bring the dope in, you store it and keep it safe until somebody picks it up and transport it to Unites States... But lately nobody has been coming. Apparently some strange new disease, The White Plague, has gone world-wide, killing most women and turning men into violent, braindead monsters...

By now, the smuggling organization you were part of is probably gone, and no one is answering your radio calls. You have no clue of whats going on in Tembelan, but for a week or so you have been hearing lots of gunfire... so The Plague has probably reached Tembelan too?

You have a somewhat seaworthy boat and you do not plan to live the rest of your life in Tembelan, but going out there in the world with empty pockets seems dumb and dangerous... and is definately NOT how you roll! So you decide to make some SWEET CASH MONEY first! Surely there are ways to make quick cash in Tembelan if you're not afraid to get your hands a little dirty...

...and afraid you are not!

SCENARIO FEATURES

- ENDGAME! Your goal is to make a certain amount of money and get the funk away from Tembelan

- Tasked missions to be found... with considerable rewards in cash and/or tradeable items

- Many stories/subplots to uncover, including how the Plague got to Tembelan

- Customized locations, about 30 of them, with light sources (if occupied)

- Custom weapons pool with selected weapons from different mods... plus some ”bonus” weapons you only find in certain places

- Plenty of random spawing AI enemies to shoot'n'loot

- Zombies... both ”walkers” and ”runners”. Less in daylight, more in nightime

- Ladies! As The Plague has just begun, there are still plenty of women alive in Tembelan...

- Trading posts... though only supply traders. Would've loved to have weapon traders, but they don't go along too well with custom weapons pool...

- Intel documents to be found... which will be helpfull in finding new places, jobs, loot etc. You can read these from your Map Menu

- Briefing files... mostly depicting conversations with certain AI characters (no voice acting, sorry...). These will also be helpfull in finding new places, jobs, loot etc. You'll get a notice everytime a new briefing file is available. You can read these from your Map Menu

- Vehicles. Only some few handplaced ones, so take good care of them!

- Survival system! You need to eat and drink to stay alive. Also you can pass time by sleeping

- 5x time acceleration

MODS

You will need all the mods listed on right, but can ALSO use:

- ENHANCED MOVEMENT (lets you climb on some roofs and over walls and such. Me, I get anxious playing without this)

- ENHANCED ARMA 3 INVENTORY (gives you a working magazine re-pack feature... plus some other cool things)

- BLOODLUST (adds some blood and such... and a nice 'thump' everytime you hit a zombie with a car fast enough)

- AI ACCURACY FIX (a bit less first-round hits from an enemy 300 meters away from you... though it affects also AI in your team)

- DEBUG CONSOLE by REVO (lets you open the debug console in SP missions...)

All these mods can be found in Workshop!

DESIGNER NOTES

Although this is a RAVAGE mission, it is not really a survival scenario, not in a hard core kinda sense anyway. Think of this more as... an adventure?

It is very important you read all the in-game intel and briefing files carefully... otherwise you'll miss most of the mission content!

Please set your in-game ”music” and ”effects” settings at the same level... approximately. Not mandatory, but will improve the experience...

Please go to your in-game OPTIONS menu (options – game – difficulty) and DISABLE ENEMY NAME TAGS. Not mandatory, but will improve the experience...

Some players have experienced a thick fog that doesn't go away no matter what... if that happens, open the DEBUG CONSOLE (in "pause menu"), type in 0 setFog 0; and hit Local Exec!

A report has been made about A BUG IN SAVE SYSTEM... when you die and hit ESC your saves get wiped... so to be on the safe side, maybe exit scenario ONLY WHEN ALIVE...?

Chances are I won't be making any more of these little zombie-fueled scenarios of mine, not anytime soon at least... but I want to thank all the people who downloaded, played, commented and maybe even enjoyed my missions...

kevinhale443 dude I'm sorry, but I really dont remember anything about this mission... its been three and a half years since I made this, and I haven't looked into it since. If I had arma installed, I would check this out for you, but I don't, and I don't have the hard drive space for it.

Hope these comments are being monitored, firstly Mauseri what a fantastic mission and a brilliant concept. I've managed to complete all the tasks except the Man in the Red Suit's, I've searched all of the Airbase and the Barracks and cannot find the woman I have to interrogate to get the numbers, so I would appreciate a small pointer to her location. One again thank's for fantastic concept and mission.
