Era - 1980s/1990s - WWF/WCW

Perhaps the most recognizable jobber in wrestling history, Barry Horowitz lost match after match in the WWF and in WCW, but always came back for more, with his famous self back patting gesture.

Horowitz wrestled collegiately and trained under Boris Malenko before wrestling around the NWA. He won the NWA Florida Heavyweight title in FCW before joining the WWF in 1987, mostly losing his matches. By 1995, however, Horowitz managed to gain several notable wins over Skip of the Bodydonnas(Chris Candido), and formed a team with Hakushi, playing up his Jewish heritage along the way.

By 1997, Horowitz would join up with WCW, and would become a regular fixture on WCW Saturday Night and served as part of Goldberg's lengthy undefeated streak.

As a strange footnote, rapper Action Bronson would perform a song titled "Barry Horowitz," which the wrestler did not take as a compliment.
