Peleliu - Bloody Nose Ridge

September - October 1944,

After capturing the beaches and airfield, the marine are preparing to attack Mount Umurbrogol. The rugged ridges are defended by stubborn Japanese defenders, prepared for a war of attrition. The place would be called Bloody Nose Ridge.

This map is supposed to be a realistic depiction of these ridges and the fighting that took place there. Hard and slow clearing of in depth fortification hidden in the harsh terrain. Play with fog of war on for more challenge.
