GN Empire Builder, Pt. 3 [GWD117]

Description
This is the third of a three-part scenario in which, as engineer of Great Northern's westbound Empire Builder (Train 31), you will travel the full distance of the Marias Pass route. These scenario are based upon the actual 1957 schedule of the Empire Builder, which departs Shelby at 2:30 pm and arrives Whitefish at 6:10 pm with an intermediate passenger stop at Cut Bank. In the first installment, you will make the run from Shelby to Grizzly; in the second installment you will travel from Grizzly to Essex; and in this final installment you will reach Whitefish. It is an Autumn afternoon as you depart Shelby and dusk will have settled by the time you reach Whitefish. As this third scenario begins, it is a little after 5 pm - can you reach Whitefish on schedule at 6:10 pm? Duration : 65 mins Difficulty : Medium

I really appreciate this three-part exercise in old-school railroading. The Builder is one of two West Coast trains I truly reget not having had the chance to ride at the time. I've favorited all three, and look forward to enjoying them again.
