Description
A monoportal map featuring two cubes and one funnel.

Difficulty: 5/10 (Medium)

Notes:
- This puzzle relies heavily on timed sequences. If you do everything right, you should have enough time to easily complete every move. However, I would highly recommend using F6/F7 before any important moves, otherwise you might have to repeat a lot of steps if you mess up.
- The green fizzler blocks cubes, but allows portal shots and does not fizzle your portals.
- The small patch of repulsion gel is not part of the solution. It is simply there to prevent exploits. With bunnyhopping and airstrafing it is possible to use the gel to get across the gap. That is obviously not part of the solution.
- No glitches, cube throwing, or ninja moves are required or allowed. Solutions using unreliable physics are not intended.

This test was very, very indirectly inspired by Tractor Beam by Linkie, but basically the only thing these maps have in common is a funnel.

Special thanks to HugoBDesigner and Narkodes for playtesting and advice. I encourage you to check out their workshops if you haven't. Hugo's Guide to Monoportal Mapping was an invaluable resource for me.
Additional thanks to TeamSpen210.

I hope you enjoy the map!

Lol, yeah it does feel a bit insubstantial now that I know how much it could be expanded. Thanks for playing!

Last time I tried this I found it too hard... suffice it to say that wasn't much of a problem after Phantasmagoria

@Hovering Harry Thanks for playing! I think a lot of people had the same difficulty as you, especially since it's not immediately clear how the upper area is helpful in getting a cube to the blue funnel button . I hope you enjoy Phantasmagoria if you're planning to check it out soon!

This was pretty good, it took me 47 minutes to complete. I saw that you could get a portal in the isolated room to use for momentum storage pretty quickly, but I got a bit stubborn trying to get the cube in the blue funnel button room before getting to the upper area

Thanks! Yeah, I was really pleased with how cohesive the map felt, especially seeing as it almost came together by accident. Glad you enjoyed it!

Very nice puzzle! I quite liked how the theme of timed sequences was well-developed over the course of the chamber. In general, variations on the same type of 'Phantom' move were well-appreciated, and fit with monoportal. The funnel speed was a little intimidating at first, but it all worked out.

Thanks for playing! Unfortunately I don't think I have access to the map file to update it anymore, so the cube throwing exploit will have to stay. I don't think it's too big of a deal, so I'm fine with keeping it.

Great challenge! Thumbs up and a favourite :-)
I agree with the difficulty rating (7/10 = medium-hard).
A tough but wonderful mixture of timing, momentum and sacrifices .
I very much appreciate your philosophy about map making: logic based and not hard to execute. That's what it is. Everything is fair. (my assessment is valid because I HATE execution based maps and I have a fine sense for such things ;-P)
Every single step perfectly works together with the others! The chamber design is splendid too! Nothing that's confusing or frustrating. I enjoyed it so much even though it took me... uhm... some time ;-)
Last thing I have to say is that I found the same unintended final move as zeo did: preparing a cube and tossing it back onto the button from above. I've read the description before but I was unsure about this toss since it's easy to execute. You should really prevent it so you can force the final reverse cube sacrifice .

Excellent. A very good brainteaser, coupled with demanding time tasks.
