V40 Research Aircraft

Description
The V40 is a research aircraft employed by the Stormworks Arctic Survey (SAS) to gather data on the arctic and deliver supplies to outposts. Known for it's fixed landing gear and fuel efficiency, the V40 is a great aircraft to for flying around and exploring. With a left seat cockpit position, the pilot can control a wide range of features, all within arms reach.

Controls:
W/S - Pitch
A/D - Roll
Up/Down - Clutch
Left/Right - Yaw
1 - Wheel Brakes
2 - Nose Wheel Steering

Startup Procedure:
1 - Ensure that rear door is closed and the isolator is set to the OFF position.
2 - Set the main power breaker to ON position
3 - Switch on Cockpit and Taxi lights as required (Roof Console)
4 - Set Throttle to 1
5 - Set fuel pumps to ON (Roof Console)
6 - Turn Each Engine Ignition to ON in sequence (Roof Console)
7 - Wait for engines to spool to 20 RPS as indicated by Roof Console Guages
8 - Set flaps to 0 or 0.1-1
9 - Arm Autoescape system
10 - Taxi to runway and takeoff.

Should the door fail to open, use the handles to push or pull it until it slides
