Needles

Description
This mod adds a new faction with adjacent 40 block palette to the game called Needles. This faction can use their sharp needle hull to impale the enemy or use their long-range bolt Cannon or Flurry needle missile to pick off enemies from afar. Comes locked. Needs to be unlocked by normal means


Needle-Afterburner
With the added speed you can ram enemies at full force with minimal space between you and the threat. Can also be used as a tactical retreat or high speed voyages.

Bolt cannon
The main offensive weapon of the Needles. This cannon shoots high speed blasma “bolts” (backward facing bullets). These bolts are armor piercing and have a chance to even phase though armor to hit critical components.

Needle beam
A burst fire laser for PD

String cannon
A weak high spread cannon that also acts as PD.

Needle missile
Amazing in numbers these weak missiles are the first thing you get when you spawn.

Needle drone
They are also weak but strong in numbers.

=KNOWN BUGS=
Ships can get stuck inside each other most times you can wait it out but if the problem insists it's a simple fix. When in campaign just press the \ key and press 3 then manually dislodge the ships then press 1 then press the \ key again.

I hope you guys enjoy this mod and I will update it when needed. Your input is valued. If you have any problems or even balance suggestions please tell me I would love to hear them.

I'm sorry, I apologize regarding my failure to see that there was a mishap in the code in the custom shape launchers but I promise they are fixed now

The Capital ship of the needles is called Halberd.

Design. if you go into sandbox and spawn my faction you can really inspect the ships and look at a capital ship that rarely spawns in normal game.

yea it just takes a while to find a ship with enough P to destroy since well half of most of the ships is literally just one part i think or the design of the parts are way to perfect idk -w- back to blah

you must find them and unlock them the same way you unlocked the vanilla factions
