I thought the UI for EU4 should be a bit more distinct from CK2 and the shields used throughout the interface neither seemed to fit the later periods of the game nor allow detailed flags to shine. It also seemed odd that the interface for mechanics relating to specific culture featured Western-style heater shields. This mod replaces or tweaks several components of the user interface.

This version is for the Bigger UI mod.

~ FEATURES ~

• Most shields have been replaced with flags from MEIOU & Taxes, exceptions being:
  
  • Flags displayed after combat are now worn and torn
    
  • The HRE has mostly been left alone, as I think shields are actually appropriate here
    
  • Defender of the Faith shields now have a holy radiance
    
  • Chinese Emperors and native Federation Leaders have culturally themed frames
• The great power status glow has been replaced with a fanciful golden fringe.
  
• The topbar has been replaced with TBARW EXTRA: User interface
  
• A pause bar that I can see without my glasses
