CLIMB MOUNT NARODNAIA
This series of scenarios is meant to simulate a Soviet invasion of Japan, after a joint Japanese-Korean-American fleet exercise is seen by the Soviets as a preparation for an attack against the motherland. These scenarios are not meant to be overly realistic, but instead are designed to mirror a campaign by the same name in Wargame: Red Dragon, with a few twists, edits, and additional content to make the missions more enjoyable and challenging. Operation Firebrand is a complex assault plan that involves air, land and sea elements for coordination. Two major offensives will occur simultaneously across the Japanese frontline to overwhelm and confuse the defenders, who at this point have few resources and options left. By concentrating their forces on either Russian attack, the other would have a chance to puncture the defensive lines in mere hours.
The city of Obama has a much higher concentration of troops than the other attack point, Gobo, and is arguably more important. A breakthrough here would allow the Red Army to penetrate deep into the remaining Japanese territory, brushing aside the remainder of the JSDF's weakened and recovering divisions. The Japanese are sure to push back with any forces they can muster here, which could land a very debilitating blow against the strained Soviet war machine. The assault is a risky gamble with much in the way of potential rewards, and Soviet high command is more than willing to cast the dice...

ACT TWO: OPERATION FIREBRAND
Scenario Notes:
- A North Korean Najin frigate is part of the soviet OOB here. This was done to remain as close as possible to Red Dragon's original forces in play.
-That being said, I have added quite a few land-based aircraft in order to be able to give the JSDF more of an air and land presence.
-If you found the secret in Act One, good job! This one is much harder to spot...
