This mod adds in the Perennial



The Perennial comes not from the now but from ancient times, it was once believed that the Perennial were actually an offshoot of the reds that did not become crystalline, but there are records of them existing way before the reds even developed their first drones, let alone the great split. Unlike modern factions the Perennial never developed advanced replication technology, which means every hit you manage to land on them will sting for some time, however what they lacked in replication, they compensated with their deadly weapons and armor, it is not recommended to be the first ship to fight them in battle, however after obtaining some damage from other ships you should be able to face them off.
Just be sure they can't reach any of their repair beams before you rush in.

Captains Log: Star Date: 10:7:7:65:9 While on a routine scouting mission, I encountered some of these things which at the time looked rather weak, feeling rather confident I decided to engage with one only to discover a large purple plasma bolt coming right towards me, After swiftly dodging it I noticed something extremely off however, the bolt was not flying away but rather, was FOLLOWING me. We got hit and my ship got split in half just like that. I can't believe I even managed to escape with my life.

Captains Log: Star Date: 10:7:7:51:8 Don't expect normal when in battle, when I was engaged with one of these it sent out a stream of these large blots, I thought nothing of it as I had some of the best shields in the region, but these bolts did not just hit me, suddenly i was surrounded by an ocean of plasma, i knew right then and there that i had no chance of beating these things.
