Double Shift-Click a unit to select all units of the same class in the last used radius.
Shift-Click a unit to add/remove that unit from the selection.
a feature id like to have (which kind of connects to the pin panel thing) is that besides the highlighting option how about selecting units directly from the pin buttons?
(multiple via shift and adding/removing units) so that might be a long term solution?
also tried double clicking with dragging mouse while the second "click" is held down which also did nothing
the button idea definetely would be a step forward tho
what might be something to consider (although prob low priority due to persumably big hassle) is a menu inddicator of the selected units
usually games with multicommand capabilities have a interface for that function and i guess integrating a "unit menu" into sm might be a pita
but i noticed that if you have multiple rovers selected and many of them pinned atleast one of them is getting "highlighted"
now is there a way to utilize the inbuilt "unitpanel" by allowing multiple units to be "highlighted" simultaniously?
that might bypass the need of a unitpanel entirely
I was trying to add a double click to select all visible units of the same class, but no luck best I could do is a dbl click to select all of same class in a radius, maybe right-click the hud button to set the radius?.
first off its a circular dragging field which is great
you can not select via clicking
you can select a group of units and then add other units
BUT! a few of the previously selected units get deselected and at the moment i dont see a pattern how its deciding which are getting deselected
you can select a group of units and click on a single unit of those to unselect it and a few others also get unselected which again seems rather random which are unselected
if you have a group of 6 and deselect by clicking one unit 2 others are also getting deselected and if you then deselect one of the remaining 3 only one will be selected
which brings me to the conclusion that whenever you deselect a unit from all units that have been selected(including the soon unselected) half of the group gets ejected (rounding down considering the 3 becomes 1 situation)
besides that selecting a group of rovers works well if no drone snuggles between them :D
2. maybe?
3. see 2
Second: is it possible to not only select via mouse drag but also via clicking?
Third: also to "de-select" either by clicking or/and dragging?
